A gentleman patron commented recently – “I like coming to your place, one doesn’t find the same books that he finds in every other bookshop.” I don’t follow the herd. Here you will find originality, a fascinating selection of new, second-hand and antiquarian titles well worth a look, and an ability and enthusiasm to produce, rather quickly, individual desiderata, in or out of print. My wife and daughter run a similar establishment in Lyme Regis (Serendip) and my son in Sidmouth (Paragon). We are none of us book supermarkets, for we believe in Service, with a big S, and cherish our independence. I also offer a selection of bargain books, and greetings cards a cut above the average and at acceptable prices. All ages are catered for. Come and see us, and sit upon the browsers stool.
